Super 8 is an independent, innovative and modern Part-time Acting and Filmmaking School for 11-18 year olds.
Established in 2012, our ethos is built on providing our students with the skills, knowledge and encouragement, to go on and become great storytellers on stage, screen and in life.
"My son looks forward to Super 8 every week. It's a positive, encouraging environment where everyone is included and respected. If your child/teenager is seriously into acting
or just enjoys Drama classes, we would thoroughly recommend it."
Colin Brice - Parent
"Every session is filled with a contagious energy with fun and educational workshops, games and projects which teach us how to act and perform on stage, as well as how to act in front of and work behind the camera.
If you love to act, see yourself as a Director or just love performing, then this is the place for you!"
James Roberts - Student
"My children 12 & 11yrs absolutely love going to the classes and have learnt so much
about Film, Theatre and the processes involved. I highly recommend this club"
Monica Church - Parent
Unique to Super 8 is our collaboration with up-and-coming Directors and Producers
Students learn acting for stage and screen and the technical skills needed to become a filmmaker.
They gain valuable experience and knowledge of the entertainment industry by working alongside professional actors and filmmakers. We are incredibly proud to say that our students have landed roles in West End Shows, award winning films, gained places at The Brit School, National Youth Theatre of GB and have gone on to enrol at world renowned film and theatre schools.
"So lucky to have found a new Drama School with such a different edge, sense of family with the aim to be the best they can be"
"Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. At Super 8, we play to our student's strengths and then we strengthen their weaknesses"
